| September 14, 2005 | | It's nice to find little gems of knowledge in the blogosphere. | You don't often have questions about Inventory Management, but when they come up, it's nice to quickly lay your hands on very discrete and highly focused domain expertise. I would love to see Charles Atkinson write about the intersection of topics like RSS and Inventory Management. Or how a knowledge-blog might improve inventory management. Not everything is (or should be) about blogs and RSS, but I sense there are some clever operational efficiencies to be gained by mixing these worlds, eh? Blogs shine at furthering the science of domain expertise and they provide access to the inaccessible (i.e., people that know alot but don't hang out at your local pub). If you haven't determined that blogs represent a very powerful model for learning, get on with it; get a newsreader. And if you're a domain expert, get a weblog; Charles is proof this is a good idea. | | |
