Why not just post these to the Web?" -- Amy Gahran Although Adobe is totally on board with the idea that PDF files must support semantic tagging capabilities, why complicate the information exchange model unnecessarily? After all, a PDF is but one method of distributing information; a good one indeed, but there are many others. In fact, HTML is just one approach. Instead, it makes sense to capture manifestos as HTML in an XML format. From that, anything can be produced, including PDF's. | | |
